As I mentioned to in my last post I am taking to some time to share some of my images from the past year that I took while working at the wonderful Duclos Studios II. Chris and Heather’s Bellingham wedding was one of my favorite weddings of the season. They were such a sweet, lovely couple and it was such an honor to be part of photographing their special day.
I can truly say that I enjoy photographing every part of a wedding. However, I think all photographers have a favorite part of the day, and my favorite part is definitely the getting ready pictures.
It is such a fun, memorable part of the day. The bride is surrounded by her friends and family, and there is so much excitement and love in the air that it makes for so many special moments. Its a perfect part of the day to combine photojournalism and editorial photography.
Everyone in Chris and Heather’s Bridal Party was so much the was day full of candid moments like this.
Heather and Chris made it a point to make sure that there reception at the Bellwether was a blast for everyone. including the kids. They set up a kid table (a table full of glow sticks, bubbles, ring pops, etc.) to ensure everyone was having a good time
The night ended with a dance, and I just loved this sweet moment between the two of them.
